Architectural Specification Representative – Greater Toronto Area
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Architectural Sales Representative. This role is responsible to promote the company’s products and services among key decision makers.
This position is commission-based and is suitable for applicants who already call on interior designers and architects in the GTA with a complimentary surface product offering (TFL/HPL board surfaces).
Actively pursue opportunities to educate decision-makers to specify RAMS Industries’ products.
Foster relationships with key decision-makers including general contractors, builders, designers, architects, and suppliers.
Identify key projects and work proactively to ensure the company’s products are included in design specifications.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
A degree or diploma in Construction, Architectural Technology, and related field.
3 + years in a similar role within the building materials industry.
Advanced knowledge of surface products is an asset.
An entrepreneurial spirit (start-up) and a passion for the industry.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Fluency in English and excellent written and verbal skills.
Reliable self-starter who can work independently. You can make this job your own.
Ability to learn new product and technical knowledge quickly.
Must be able to travel within assigned territory
Must have own car and a valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
As this is a commission-based position, the compensation can be very attractive for somebody who gets product specified within the architectural community. Ample samples and product training will be provided.
